Elke Geraerts attaches great importance to your privacy. Although most of the information on this website is available without having to provide personal data, it is possible that the user may be asked for personal data, e.g. when subscribing to our newsletter, filling in a form (contact, offer, brochure, etc.). These personal data will only be used for the specific purpose for which the data were requested. Your personal data will therefore not be passed on to third parties.

What do we keep from you?

Name, address, telephone number and e-mail address. This is all Elke Geraerts asks of you when you wish to subscribe to our newsletter and/or when you contact us via one of the forms on the website. This data is sent by e-mail from the website to us and/or kept in an online platform that helps us process your request or send our newsletters.

This information is kept only for the purpose it serves, namely to respond to your enquiry, your quote/brochure request or to send you a newsletter. The information held to send you newsletters is only held until you unsubscribe from this service. If you ask us a question via one of the website’s input forms, we will keep your data until we have been able to answer your question and for a maximum of 3 years after you have provided it to us, without prejudice to the rights you can exercise (see “What can you ask us?”).

What can you ask us?

You have several rights: in particular, a right to access, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, portability and the right not to be subject to automated decision-making (including profiling).
If you wish to exercise these rights, we ask that you email us at [email protected]. We will then immediately go to work to do the necessary. To ensure that not just anyone can request your data, we ask you to provide proof of identity with each request.

Your browsing behaviour on our website

A user’s visit to our website teaches us a lot about what users like you find important. Hence Elke Geraerts may collect anonymous or aggregated data, such as browser type, the operating system you use or the domain name of the website via which you arrived at the website or via which you leave it. This allows us to permanently optimise the website for users. The data kept here by Elke Geraerts are kept in a purely anonymous manner without any identification ever being possible again.

What about so-called ‘cookies’?

During a visit to our website ‘cookies’ may be placed on the hard disk of your computer or your mobile device and this only in order to adapt our website better to the needs of the returning visitor. These mini files or cookies are not used to track the visitor’s browsing behaviour on other websites.
